Approaching the recently launched Blackheath Creative shop in Station Street there is a heavenly aroma from Christmassy scented candles. I stopped outside to chat to friends and they asked if I had some exotic perfume on. But don’t just wander past…..walk in!
Everything here is locally sourced from craft workers in the Blue Mountains. Do get in touch with them if you have something to offer.
The venture is the inspiration of florist and artist Liz Hunter. There will be various craft workshops offered soon.

They are designed by Kara Cooper from Mount Victoria; so witty. Among those featured are Paul Keeting, Julia Gillard, Pauline Hanson, and….. Tony Abbott!

Let’s support our creative local crafters and retailers. It’s not easy for them these days and we don’t want to end up with just antique shops and cafes in our Blue Mountains villages….much as I love both!
