Roll up and grab your popcorn everyone. On offer is free entry to the Wongas’ unique theatrical performance. We all need some distraction in these troubled times. Australia’s native Wonga pigeons are engaging birds even when they are just pottering about, so expect something VERY special.

After weeks of rehearsal, Warwick and Wendy Wonga of Blackheath in the Blue Mountains are proud to present to you……A LOCK-DOWN REVUE💛. Just a last minute check of her appearance for Wendy. Don’t worry sweetheart, I know it’s a poor quality mirror, but you do look wonderful.
Applause please, let’s welcome our stars on stage.

The name of this truly spectacular production is;
ON WINGS OF DESIRE!
And quite frankly, the opening scene can only be described as magic. Well done Wendy.

Right, now lets give the audience something a bit ‘cheeky’….get it? Haha!

Hey, turn around Warwick! You must keep up with your partner. I think she is giving you a little prompt.

Properly executed synchronized moves always go down well. This is truly impressive;

A kiss is essential as we move ever closer to the climax (so so speak),

And so we come to the finale of Les Folies Begere a la Wongas. Lower the stage lights please, we need a bit of atmosphere.
Awww, how romantic. 💘

Well, that’s it folks, but there will be another matinee tomorrow, Covid-19 notwithstanding.

ENCORE! TAKE ANOTHER BOW

LATE STAGE FAIL FOR WARWICK WONGA
Oh dear, Warwick insisted on a solo encore performance. He was aiming to stand on one leg, difficult for a portly fellow. It did not go nearly as well as he (or we) hoped. Let’s close the curtains on his humiliation.

I’m hoping you might leave a review of the feathered folies and its two aspiring stars. If all goes well we may even take this stage show on the road.

Delightful.
